What kind of photo should I upload?

A clear photo with good lighting, ideally facing the camera. The clearer your photo, the more accurate your headshot will be. Avoid heavy filters or sunglasses.

How accurate are the headshots?

Very. The AI preserves the features it detects — face shape, hair, skin tone, glasses, beard. Small details vary between generations, which is why you can regenerate freely.

How long does it take?

Around 30–60 seconds per headshot. Analysis is near-instant; generation is the slower step.

What if I'm not happy with the result?

Regenerate as many times as you want — it's free until you decide to download. If you've paid and still aren't happy, email info@headshotsmaxx.com within 3 days for a full refund. No questions asked.

Can I use these on LinkedIn or my resume?

Absolutely. Headshots are 1024×1024, sharp, and yours to use anywhere — LinkedIn, resumes, websites, business cards.

Are my photos private?

Yes. Photos are processed for your headshots only, not used for training, never shared. Auto-deleted after 30 days.

What styles can I choose from?

The short version: you upload a photo, we use AI to generate a headshot, and we don't store your photo after your session ends. We never sell your data or use your photos to train AI models.

2. Information We Collect

We collect the following information when you use Headshotsmaxx:

Photos you upload. When you upload a photo to generate a headshot, that image is transmitted to our servers and to Google's Gemini API for processing. Your photo is processed in real-time and is not retained on our servers after your session ends.
Usage data. We collect your IP address, browser type, operating system, referring URLs, and the date and time of your requests. This is used to enforce rate limits, prevent abuse, and understand how the service is used.
Technical logs. Our servers generate standard access logs that include IP addresses, request timestamps, and response codes. These logs are retained for up to 30 days for security and operational purposes.

We do not collect your name, email address, or create user accounts. There is no registration required to use Headshotsmaxx.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Analyze your uploaded photo using AI to detect facial features (hair color, eye color, skin tone, expression, attire, etc.)
Generate a professional headshot image based on your selected style
Enforce rate limits to ensure fair access for all users
Detect and prevent fraudulent or abusive use of the service
Monitor and improve service performance and reliability
Comply with legal obligations

We do not use your photos or generated headshots to train AI models. We do not use your data for advertising or sell it to third parties.

4. Third-Party Services: Google Gemini API

Headshotsmaxx uses Google's Gemini API to power the AI photo analysis and headshot generation features. When you upload a photo, it is transmitted to Google's servers for processing. Google processes this data under their own privacy policies and terms of service.

You can review Google's privacy practices at policies.google.com/privacy. By using Headshotsmaxx, you acknowledge that your photo will be processed by Google's Gemini API.

5. Data Retention

Photos: Your uploaded photo and the generated headshot are held temporarily in server memory only for the duration of your active request. They are not written to disk or stored in any database. Once your browser session ends, the images are gone.

Technical logs: Server access logs are retained for up to 30 days, then deleted.

No long-term storage: We do not maintain a gallery or archive of user photos or generated headshots.

6. Cookies

Headshotsmaxx does not use tracking cookies or third-party advertising cookies. Our server may set a session cookie to support rate limiting, but we do not use cookies to track you across other websites or for advertising purposes.

7. Children's Privacy

Headshotsmaxx is intended for users 13 years of age and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has used our service, please contact us and we will take appropriate action.

8. Your Rights Under GDPR (EU/EEA Users)
